So the radio mode button will work in accessory but not in the ON position of ignition. Ive ohmed the wires, and did a diagnostic test on the radio and got a B2007 code Ive got the bars off for the third time when you press the button you have continuity through the brown/white and violet/black. Non of the wires go to ground or have continuity with other wires. Can anyone help?
I looked up the code for you, that was the description I found with the code that you gave. If you Google that code, that info comes up.
Clearly there is a short. You are not going to just clear it. Time to start eliminating and finding the short, it is likely in the bars or the switchpack, based on that code description
Prewired bars had left handlebar connection had a violet/black wire harness. When I didnt have that connected the mode button worked fine. Removed that wire from connector and all buttons work fine now.
