hey, Im not disputing this perspective or your findings. Makes total sense. Im just saying if you understand what AVC does you should still be able to use it safely. Maybe its just me but I dont push it to where Im getting any audible distortion at listening volumes. This includes highway speed. Or maybe Ive just been lucky that Ive never blown a speaker due to AVC.

Probably because nobody has an answer for you. I wont argue with you but I check this and other audio related forums multiple times a day and I dont recall ever reading of this as being a known problem.
