DD Audio AW6.5 - do I need a passive crossover?
I am lucky to have a set of speakers in my bike for a complete riding season sometimes.
I use my bike as a testing platform. I just pulled a set of beyma from the fairing that were installed for at least 4 years to test a set of the Cicada CM65s which I am liking just as much as the beyma that were replaced.
So 5yrs...they must have been good. Were you running the exact same set as the link I provided?

I worry that the EPC6K may be too bright in the fairing for me...😑
1) Euphoria EPC6K - lot's of guys installed these but from what I have read they get EXTREMELY bright at hwy speeds (where the music counts) so I think they are a no go.
2) Euphoria E5 Component - this seems like a winner. The tweeter is Silk (easier on the ears). It'll swallow up all of the 150w I'll send them from the 1200.4, and price is right @ $440CAD shipped to my door.
3) DD Audio AW6.5 paired with the same tweeters in the Euphoria E5 kit. This system also seems like a winner, but I do have to source items individually (not a big deal) but the cost is greater @ $468CAD total.
So the question remains...is option 2 or option 3 better?
The DD CC6.5 I had in my tourpack pods for at least 1 season until the sickness kicked in and the winter time blues got the best of me, and I wanted MORE.
Yes the SICKNESS is real and if you let it control you, your pockets get light real fast
