Hertz SV 165.1
Wondering out loud................. question for the audio experts?
Would the Hertz SV 165.1 speakers be a good choice to pair with a decent set of tweeters or horns in a component setup? Fairing only in 2018 Road Glide Special.

I run the SV165 in my SG fairing. They are very good, clear and loud speakers. They do lack warmth and lows and need something to compliment them in the sub 100-125 hz range. If I was doing just a fairing setup, I would choose something else. The SV's are really not meant to be used on their own. If just doing a fairing setup, the tried and true DD AW 6.5 may be the way to go, but I'm not sure you're going to be able to find a pair easily.

Ill be back in town next week. I need to take some vids of a nasty coax /woofer/ horn/ amp combo I did for a friend.
