So I have 2 PRV 10 inch mid bass 8 ohm speakers bridged to channel 3+4 for 1200 watts total 4 ohm load. I just bought the euphoria to replace them ex10mb to replace them and totally forgot to check the impedance before they shipped.
Euphoria has them listed as a 3 ohm speaker, 800 watts which I believe is peak numbers.
I only have channel 3/4 to work with on the amp so my options are run bridged in series for a 6 ohm load or run one speaker per channel which im guessing would meet in the middle at 500 watts RMS?
Power @ 12.6V @ 4Ω: 4 X 396 WRMS
Power @ 12.6V @ 2Ω: 4 X 600 WRMS
Power @ 12.6V @ 1Ω: N/A
Bridge Power @ 12.6V @ 4Ω: 2 X 1200 WRMS
I dont want to add/change my amp setup. So can I make this work, or is it better to just return them until next year when I can switch my amp setup or add another?
I just saw they have 2 versions. That's a bummer. You could try them at 6 ohm series, but you're only giving each speaker half the wattage. Return them?

if 2ohm gives 600 watts per channel and 4 ohm 400 watts, then I figure 3 ohms would be 500 per speaker if I put on separate channel.
bridged at 4 ohm is 1200, so if my math is correct 6 ohms would be around 900? Which is 450 per speaker. Im not sure if thats the right way to do the math lol hence why I posted

basically wondering if:
A) my math is correct and if so,
B) is 500 watts each enough for those speakers
I would wire them on separate channels. If you want to get the most out of those 10's, you need to run them on a 3K. They take all the power, all day long. That is my current bag setup.

you have these or the carbon fiber cone? I was going to get the CF but I know those need a 3000 and I Im really trying to avoid adding another amp lol
