Default Amp Install Help

2012 Roadglide Ultra is what Im installing this amp into.

A little background. Over the winter I installed a Soundstream HDHU 9813 headunit and added some 6.5 Mmats to the front fairing. A friend of mine gave me a J&M 3600 4 channel amp that came off his 2009 Street Glide that he was no longer using. I haven't installed an amp in probably 20 years, used to do it all the time in my cars in my younger days but things look a little different. So looking at this wiring harness there are no actual speaker wires that hook up to the speakers. At the end of each lead for front and rear speakers are male RCA jacks. I've tried to do as much research as I can but not finding exactly what Im looking for. From what I can assess (I could be way off) the RCAs at the end of the speaker leads for this harness hook up directly to the headunit? If thats the case is there no imput into the amp from the headunit? Im my day the RCAs ran from the headunit (output) to the Amp (input) then the speaker wires from the amp to the speakers. Also appears that the orange wire is the remote wire (which is usually blue). If my assessment is correct and the speaker RCAs do hook up directly to the headunit and the orange connects to the blue remote wire then Im golden. If not then Im back to square one.

The harness that is on the deck is your output speaker/power harness.

The speaker harness is wired for a 14 and up bike to be plug and play.
You will just have to remove the plugs on the speaker outputs and wire to your speakers.

That makes sense but Im still confused. This came off a 2009 Street Glide not a 2014 up, even if it was 14 up what would these RCAs at the end of the speaker wires hook up to?

The RCAs that are plugged into the output are probably connected there to keep from getting lost.
They have resistors wired in under the heat shrink so the 14 and up HUs have the proper load and do not cause the check engine light to come on via the BCM.

As for why it was hooked up in a pre 13 bike with the 14 and up connections is beyond me.

Thanks for you help, cutting the plugs and running them directly to the speakers is much easier than trying to figure this mess out and simple enough. Hope to have it all hooked up and back together on Friday.
