hi all,
my wife and I, from Italy, have a Tri Glide Ultra 2024 and the software version is M24.23.09.00 with a BOOM BOX GTS navigation software is 9.35.10.206394 and database map is EU-MY2024-1
I've exported the footprint with settings\navigation\export data into a FAT32 usb key.
after that, I've updated the key following the instructions about map updates, by using the "Toolbox" (on windows)
now, when I put back the usb key to the boombox gts I receive two messages:
- no media found (ok sounds goods)
- authentication image in progress
and this message never go away!
I tried a couple of time with the same usb key, then I created a new usb key (export, update and so on)
tried with 2 differente usb keys.
NOTHING!!! stuck on this message
I've see some threads in this forum but finally, not a clear instructions how to solve it
someone can help ?
Welcome to the forum. There are other threads on this in the 24+ touring section as well. Reformatting to exfat may help.
thanks for update. my first attempt was with exfat and a 128gb usb key, same result. than I downgraded to 32gb then 16 and then 4gb with different file systems...
about other thread, I've seen but they are confused and with no clear answers. hoping starting a new thread may help to make a clear solution
Ran into a similar hiccup with a map update, exported everything, followed the steps, and still got errors. Ended up sending some critical trip alerts through a service like bulk sms instead, so I could keep on the road without waiting for the update to sort itself.
