Has anyone had success with these amps?
I watched the dyno tests, and the size and the output look very favorable!
Lookin forward to some real life reviews.
I have used a few of the ION amps (motorcycles and trailers) and their marine NXL (side by side) without any issues.
The size of the ION1600.4 is very nice. The clip light is nice to have. Does have a fan and not noisy like the SD amps.
Their power ratings are a little over inflated. The 1600 is rated at 220w x4 at 4 ohm. I think I was getting about 180w x4 clean.
When they are on sale, they are definitely a solid deal.
I got one of their micro four channel amps and bridged it for my rear pod speakers because it fit in the CB cubby with my Arc PSM Pro DSP. Been running it about six months now with no problems. I liked that it used the popular four pin molex type plugs so I was able to make my own harness with the bridged wiring to simplify things.
I know I'm late to the party, but I've been running two 1600.4's in my 15 CVO SG for over a year now with no issues. Great amp for the price, especially if you can find them on sale.

Thanks for the input.
Always good to hear from guys using the stuff in question.
Just saw where Crutchfield has a scratch and dent sale on the 1600.4 for $379. I don't know if that is a good price or not but thought I'd post it in case anyone is in the market for one.
