So, i just did job last week, my typical stage one set up, head unit, amp and front speakers,,,,,,ususally i use stuff from Mmats,,,,amp used to be the MD4110 nd the speakers are the PA601.4cx...
cant get that amp anymore, so I tried one of the Diamond line that was real close to it and I liked it and it did all the same things with good sound.
tht makes me want to find out if they have a speaker that is comprable tothe pa601.4cx. does anyone know for sure?
if so can you give me a model number so i can look into it?
thanks much.

look at the Cicada CHX 6.5 for compression horn style or CM line for component style. My understanding is one of the main designers/engineers left Diamond to start Cicada so they are a higher quality.
where's all my regulars????
i dont use component speakers on motorcycles,,,,,i use Pro Audio style speakers. I'm curious if the Diamond Audio brand has something that is actually comparable to the Mmats PA601.4 cx.

Anything diamond has that would be close to the MMATS 601cx sensitivity would be the HXM or MP series speaker or you would have to go to a component setup.
Then going with diamond speakers you are at twice the price as the MMATS
