Default Boom system orientation

Hi everyone, I'm new on the forum, but have always checking the forum as a referece point on my problems with my 2016 SGS. Happy holidays!!
I.know this topic with Boom system is kind obsolete and discussed a lot. After many days looking and searching for a better practice orientation, I decide make a question, because there are many details i could be missing something...
Long story short, i got an entire stage 2 system over market place for 100usd including the GT head, but my bike came with the GTS head from previous owner....so the Boom system came with 3 amps and the the setup wiring, looks like the one with 2 amps installed inside the saddlebags to manage the 4 speakers stage 2 and another one on the fairing. My question is can I set up a bridge to use just 1 amp for front and lower fairing speaker ( I have a focal front speakers and stage 2 speaker for lowers)? Its becase i don't want to tear down the bike and cut the stock lids...so just a front full speakers for me its enough....or can I use the GTS output with the front speakers and add the stage 2 amp with the speakers on my lower fairing?

Thanks in advance folks..

Regards

Keep it simple. Use the Boom amp setup you got for your front speakers. Don't bridge it; run it as intended. Trying to power both the GTS head and the extra amp gets messy fast. Just run the front speakers off the Boom system's amp and leave the lower fairing speakers disconnected. Sounds great, much less hassle.

Thanks for your reply, buddy. Yeah, it looks like I don't have much to do here...let's see if I can maybe swap the system for an aftermarket amp system.

Happy holidays!

Glad it helped. An aftermarket amp is the right move to get the control you need. Good luck with the swap, and happy holidays to you too.

Happy New Year!! Thanks again for your help, but I would like to bring a solution I found, just in case someone needs it in the future.

So, I just realized that....GTS head unit aside the pair of speakers output, it comes with the extension/expansion output (terminal [313]) to add future amplifiers, but you can connect the same plug to this harness (Part Number: 76000991 - Twin-Cooled Lower Speaker Installation Kit) to add the lower pair of speakers, since it's an output signal as well. So, without an amp, you can have 4 speakers connected to the head unit.

The same hardness you can add to the Boom amp, because the amp's hardness (PN: 69200487) comes with the same extension/expansion output, and the pair of speakers output as well, so you can add 4 speakers through the amplifier outputs. But all the speakers must be regular and not the stage 2, since no more outputs than these 4 speakers' connectors.

An additional point, you need to use a 2ohms imnpendance sepakers, and no need to be a Boom speaker, you can find better quality and power cheaper. Anyway, I'm happy with my stock stage 1 with boom amp and 4 speaker system, and it's working as it should. I just had to bring the bike to the dealer and flash my GTS head unit. No worries, if after you add the amp, there is no sound through the speakers, only after flashing the system, it will work properly.

i hope it helps someone in the future,

Thanks
