Default 2 Speaker Setup

Just bought a 2026 Road Glide and plan to do a stereo upgrade. Going with an A2B, dsp, ample and 6.5 fairing speakers. Only doing a two speaker set up for now, but the bike will be able to upgrade to speakers in the bags if I want to in the future. I had Ground Zero yellow baskets with a Sound Digital amp in my old Street Glide. We put DB Moto 6.5 in my wife's bike with a Euphoria amp. Her **** is louder than mine and super clear with almost zero distortion. I talked to a shop that is going to do my stereo as I was originally think Cicada, but he told me that he has been changing a lot of Cicada speakers out for DB moto's. There are so many different models of the Moto speakers. Which model are the best? I don't remember what model speakers were put in her bike. Are the DB good? What about Hertz?

If youre happy with your wife's setup, I'd go that route.

I have 2 sets of the GZCF (Yellow Basket) and 2 of the 400.4 Sound Digital amps bridged in a 2015 FLHTK and I'm more than happy with my setup for over 3yrs now. Crystal clear at 70mph @ 40-50% volume. Sitting still volume at 70-80% is loud enough to hurt my ears, lol, and still clear and no crackling. But I done all the right stuff (HD Boom 6.5 flashed, set gains, pink noise, Dayton mic, RTA app, DSP app, etc.)

For comparison:
The DB Drive WDX6MOTO-CD : 6.5" speakers (if those are the ones your wife has) are rated at 250/500 watts, 90hz - 18KHz, 4Ω, 102.7dB.

The GZCF 6.5SPL (Ground Zero Yellow Basket) are rated at 100/250 watts, 4Ohms, 93 dB, 90 Hz – 20 kHz.

Yeah man, just get the DBs. If her bike sounds that good, get the same ones. Ask the shop which model they put in hers probably the ES series. Hertz is nice but DB is proven on a Harley.
