Angry Radio problem

Hi all. I have a 2008 HD Ultra. My problem is when I turn the volume all the way up, the radio breaks up like a cd would when you hit a bump. I can only go so high with the volume and sometime on the highway i can barely hear the radio. Any suggestions as to what the problem is?? I have been to Harley about it, and they said it was the speaker, well, I changed them to Hog Tunes and still have the same problem! Thanks in advance for any help you guy/gals can give me, it's driving me nuts!!

And you're sure you haven't blown these speakers as well?

Sorry, no idea then. But I would guess a short in the wiring somewhere or the radio itself.

The audio increases at the radios pre-amp circuit prior to getting to the internal amp. The volume increases at the pre-amp. You may have an issue between the pre-amp and final amplifier that is surfacing as the voltage increases.

Default Audio problems

I have a problem with my auxiliary with the audio system on my 2008 Ulta Glide. It works, but sounds funny. My plug is good. Cd and radio sounds fine. Anyone else with this problem?
