Now i want to put radio in and looking for advice, I like kenwood, but finding stuff that is waterproof is tough? looking to do 6.5 or 7.25 in fairing. also maybe speker in lowers, but like it without in summer. then thinking about speakers in saddlebag lids.but dont want big amp in the saddle bags. Ykes, please help or if you have products to sell to fellow brother. I also have small shop in mi., maybe win-win for both!!!!!!

I'll show you just as many articles about water "resistant" radios failing as I can non water "resistant" Buy what you like sir.
If you want to use handlebar controls, you'll need something like a retro kit from biketronics which will operate most kewood and sony radios (and some others)
I have the Sony DSX-S310BTX and LOVE IT on my Ultra... the biketronics kit comes with a water "proof" shield that fits snug into the radio opening on the fairing to protect the radio during rain or washing...

I have never used the weather band but the Sony does have Pandora so I'm sure you can find all the weather you can shake a stick at.
