I have a 99 Ultra Classic and want to put a newer style HD radio in it. Will a radio from a newer HD fit my bike, if so what years will fit and will I need a adapter or will it plug into the regular wiring harness
i could be mistaken here but I think it can be done partially. I remember someone on here (maybe harleypingman) posting a note about this and having to change the smaller radio sound radio connector with the larger HK radio connector on the harness in the fairing. I think the CB will be a problem for you though.

My opinion only..
I would just do a Sony or Alpine Stereo
ALOT better price
more features..Like SD Card and more power
and can be adapted to handlebar controls
