what exact PAC adapter did you use HD HERB so everyone else will know they have other options.
IMHO you still can't beat the simplicity and convenience of the Biketronics and Hawg Wired kits although a little pricey.

i just ordered my radio and after 2 weeks of reseach i think i found a interface module that will work for a fraction of the price 44.00 to be excate so here in the next few weeks when everything gets here im going to get down to putting this together got the wiring digram for the controls on the handle bars i ll keep everybody info on this
Got any links to this? I can do the research and wiring but you know what they say about reinventing the wheel.
thats the older version will work same digram amozon is great i got the newer version 44 00 i went to a car stereo shop that box is 100 just so evrybody knows if your on a budget this is the wAY to go
budget = logic. if it works the same way as the others, what's the point of throwing good hard earned $ away. I'm just comfortable with wiring and the higher priced alternatives are eye-candy for those who are more electrically challenged. Or in my case the last time I used the BT kit, I was too lazy to wire anything else in. :-)
Thanks Ultra, forgot about this thread and my question. Not exactly top pri. How's Houston these days? Grew up in Pasadena but call Hawaii home for now.
well it's rainy and cold at the moment so I'll be happy to trade places with you. They ever gonna finish that highway between Honolulu and SF Bay? Sure would make for a nice ride..
So if your going to be lazy and go the BT or HW route whats the difference? Anyone Looks like BT is a bit cheaper and has the sony adapter if your going sony...
HD HERB...How much wiring is it to use the PAC SWI-PS model? and I saw you mention resistors added? Where?
I used the BT kit before and it worked flawlessly so I'll go back with that one. All the others are pretty much the same just depends on whether you want to wire it in or not and save a few $. The advantage the BT device has is it retains your AVC (automatic volume control that increases volume as speed increases as your HD unit does). To my knowledge they're the only one out there that does this but I could be wrong.
