Guys, listen.. Just because I recommend a product doesn't mean it's the best there is as some others have blatantly pointed out with their remarks about my preferences and how I hate this and how I hate that.
I don't hate anything other than HD Advanced Audio, PERIOD! It's crap product and I'd rather give my $ to a homeless person on the side of the road than give it to HD for this junk.
There are many great manufacturers out there for you to pick and choose from and I nor anyone else is holding your hands to the keyboard making you purchase something specific. I and others are only sharing knowledge with you all so YOU can make informed and educated decisions
Focal for instance; Just because I won't spend my $ on it for a bike doesn't mean it's not as good or better than the next quality product. Simply means that it's not the route I personally want to take. Focal is a GREAT product and I know that just as many others out there do. I personally like the fact that DragonFly2000 is an active participant on this forum. Every opinion is subjective including mine and his. DF provides a wealth of information to you all and obviously very good choices in quality products and your purchasing decisions. I certainly don't see any of the other audio vendors out there participating very much, if any at all so take that for what it's worth.
Biketronics; This one again is my subjective opinion. It's what I like and what I recommend for a variety of reasons. Each of these kits has it's ups and downs. Hawg-wired I feel has a better mounting system than BT does but BT has a better handlebar control device, for MY preference.
Sony; it's what I like and what I prefer. Not to say its the best because it simply isn't. There are tons of headunits out there, pick and choose what YOU want but also remember to pick something that is compatible with the handlebar control kit you're going to use, that it paramount!
Soundstream; It's what I prefer of all the amps I've been through. There are better amps, yes but again "better" is subjective.
It's all about choices and those choices are your's not mine or anyone else's. Educating yourself is the key and whatever route YOU choose to go I'm sure it will be a good one. It's all about what YOU want.
Well, I thank you for being so active and voicing your opinion in the audio forums, its personally helped me make educated decisions and I'm grateful and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Chad
Well, a lot of us are very grateful for the specific recommendations you make based on your extensive experience with audio. Anyone can put together a good sounding super-expensive system, but you've given us an easy to follow recipe for a quality best-bang-for-the-buck system that absolutely rocks at highway speeds. Thanks for the time you've put into it and for sharing your advice with us.
You mean I just bought this junk for nuthin?? LMAO! Just kidding. I do appreciate all the guidance and opinions as I was looking to better my system. Just purchased 2 sets of Polks a few minutes ago. Also appreciate your wisdom of where to get good deals!
Well I for one appreciate all the good, sound advice you have given us Ultra. Without you I would have been at a total loss for what to do. You take the time, and have the patience to explain things. I just hope you continue to help out poor schmucks like me and anyone else me who can use all the help they can get. You ARE appreciated and your opinion DOES matter to some of us.
Nutz, another thank you for all of your opinions and recommendations. You're right in that it's not what you spend, it matters that you get what suits your needs, high price, low price whatever works.
