Default MM651 Question

I'm leaning towards replacing the stock speakers in my Street Glide with the Polk's.

My question is this:

Has anyone just replaced the speakers without installing an amp? I'm not interested in putting in an amp, just getting a little better sound than I currently have.

Will I see much of an improvement or am I wasting my money doing this without an amp?

Thanks in advance

you will see a MUCH improved difference. Look through the audio threads and use the polyfil tip to wrap your speakers once you have them installed. This will help the sound greatly.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure I'll pick your brain once I get the speakers and take the fairing apart.........

yust FYI, you will need a set of 5.25" to 6.5" adapter rings.
