Default audio for streetglide

I just joined the forums and really enjoyed reading all of the different topics. I have read on here about different audio configurations and am amazed on how many different ones there are. I own a 2012 streetglide and am going to keep the harley harmon karmon radio in it. What i have read about amps and speakers I was wondering what you guys think about getting the rockford fosgat PBR300X2 AMP and the POLK MM651 speakers? I am only using the fairing speakers, no lowers or saddlebag speakers. I know it comes down to price but was wondering if this will sound good?

Yes, the RF amp is great and the Polks are too!

Personally I would go with the Sound Stream Picasso Nano PN4.520 if you think there is any chance that you might add the CVO speaker lowers or bag lid 6X9's at a later date. I have recently installed the Sound Stream and cannot believe how it sounds. Just don't use the rear channels until later when you upgrade again. IMO.

I'm working on the same setup except I'm ditching the head unit and getting a Sony.

I have the SS amp and was going to go with the RF amp. I got a better price on the 4 channel SS amp. The 2 channel RF amp gets a lot of good reviews, the 4 channel is reported as hot. The polks are on my fathers day short list. Right now I am running 2 channels and plan to get the radio flashed and add the speakers in the lowers.

excellent combination! make sure to wrap those speakers in the fairing with polyfil and make sure to follow the procedure to set your amp gain control.

I read all of the views and am reading all of the other views on this subject. Wow all kinds of combinations. I am only interested in the 2 speaker set up. Which would be better, polk AA2651-A OR PLOK MM651? Still interested in the rf pbr300x2 amp. Looking at the titans also.

the AA2651-A and MM651 are the same speaker.

I would stick with the MM651 speakers in a 2 speaker setup on the PBR300x2 amp as they more closely match the amp's impedance of 2 ohms.
