Oh crap...not liking this. I heard CC was the best. Then heard DragonFly supplies theirs to CC and Yaffe. I got the best price on Yaffes so I ordered them. I guess Murphy always shows up to the party but I didn't expect him to show up and start drinkin' b4 I even get started.

I asked Kevin to respond to these concerns but haven't heard anything from him

huh???

My Cycle Sounds rings were $47.50 delivered. Not cheap, especially for something that didn't fit properly.

did you cut the tabs on the adapter as illustrated in the manual for the RoadGlide install?

No clue as to what you're looking at. These adapters are $35 to $39 from Cycle Sounds and Dragonfly Cycle Concepts.

You ONLY need adapter rings for the fairing, nothing else.

How do you get away from using them on the tourpak?

no adapters required on the tour pak pods. The polks drop right in the hole, you simply drill new screw holes.

I had the Dragonfly rings and didn't like the fit. They seem to offset the speaker some. I got a set of Hawg Wired adapter rings and REALLY like them. They fit perfect and don't cover any of the speaker. The tweeters look centered in the hole when looking at them from the rider's position.

My misunderstanding so you can mount 6.5 inch speakers in the rear without rings, cool.
