yes sir. Polk MM651 6.5" speakers drop right into stock tour pak pods and the CVO grills fit perfectly.

Ok, so now what's your opinion, should I stick with the 5 1/4" Polk MM521s in the rear pods along with whatever grills I can find that'll fit, or should I sell the 521s and go with the 6 1/2" MM651s? Do you think that there will be a huge difference in the sound?

Keep in mind that I'm not running an amp at the moment, but I fully intend to do so when time and funds permit.

100% agree.

There is a tremendous difference in sound quality and sound reproduction in general going from 5.25" to 6.5" mainly on the low end (bass) but you also open yourself up to better quality speakers moving to 6.5"

Either way you go, whether you stick with the 5.25" or move to the 6.5" wrap those fairing speakers in polyfil like a cocoon and also line the tourpak pods with polyfil.

Thanks for the input Ultra & Glacierpearl!

I'm probably going to try out the MM521s for the time being and see how they sound. I figure until I put in an amp I won't benefit too much by buying the MM651s and putting them in.

I did find the Soundstream PN4.520D on Amazon for $140 shipped and a combo with the MM651s for $273. It's very tempting!!!!!!

just make sure when you purchase either MM series speaker that you're purchasing the MM xxx and not the MM xxx -UM. The UM is Ultra Marine and the grills DO NOT come off the speaker so that will cause install problems for you.
