On a ride from Kentucky to Georgia (lots of rain btw). About 70 miles from destination radio just cuts off then reboots. But when it starts back up it is showing the stations but nothing coming through the speakers. It was locked up and wouldn't respond to any button push.
I stopped and cycled power, but nothing. The LCD then started blinking erratically. Now, I get nothing..no power, no flicker, nothing. Tried to eject a cd, but nothing. Checked the fuses, but they were good and connections were secure on back of radio.
Is my radio shot? Please tell me this is something simple, I really don't want to ride back 500 miles with no tunes.
If you are worried it got wet, if you are comfortable pulling the HU, a bag of rice never hurts!

Old electronics trick. Take your device (HU, cell phone, etc.), and place in a bag of rice (zip lock bag) overnight. Rice absorbs water and dries out electronics.
One better is to save the random silica packs you get with electronics and use those instead of rice.
If it was water and drying out helps - maybe then your buttons will work well enough to do further diagnostics from HPM's sticky.
I'd let it set and dry out. Water shouldn't be doing this to the HK units. Pull it and send it to Tony at Iron Cross Audio. They'll do their magic on the face and it's connections to the circuit boards and seal that puppy properly
best place to get your 2006-2013 Harley HK radio serviced is at www.ironcrossaudio.com ,,,, these guys know what they are doing and do it right the first time ,,,,,,,
just make sure you have them do ALL updates that are applicable to your particular HK radio, when you send it to them ,,,,,,
