Default Lowers Mounted

I spent Sunday afternoon installing the new lower adapters and Polk MM651's. I mounted the crossovers in the bottom of the glove box with automotive 2-sided tape, tuck some 1" poly-fil in the box and mounted the speakers. They sound much better than the stff HD sells! I'm waiting on some other parts to come in before taking apart the fairing for the amp and 2nd set of Polks. Looking forward to the completed project. Hadn't completely decided if I want to install regular speaker grilles or not.......

looks good man... you don't know what good sound is til you get that amp installed. Those Polks come alive with power behind them...

I picked them up off eBay. They are made by Waves and Wheels. I scuffed them a bit and shot them with black denim.
Wish I could've done the amp and fairing speakers, but I'm waiting on an SE electric lock switch to arrive so I only have to disassemble once......

That is who I purchased them from on eBay. I made an offer for a little less than they sell them for and it was accepted with free ship. I like the way they are angled up and in toward the rider.
