I'm trying to get the best of both.
Hidden in the batwing - $18 ebay from streetglidecoda guy.
Removable tourpack, so going to cap the antenna when tourpack is off. Or may run a short whip if i find it's a lot better than the cheap hidden antenna. but figured for $18 i'd give it a shot!
Using a Y to wire both to aftermarket HU. Will test both and see which gets better reception after install finished (hopefully soon).
