Default Sound from install

Okay fist thanks to everyone here with all the advice on installing my new system. From previous posts you might know I was able to lay my hand on the Focal speakers and J&M amp for crazy cheap. Anyway all is installed and I will take pics of the finished product but had a question. I ran the 500 W amp with the fairing and lowers wired in parallel and the rear pods running off of the rear channel of the amp. The sound is top notch compared to what it was. It seems as though the lowers don't sound as loud as the fairing speakers. I spliced into the wire to the fairing speakers before the first wire connection was made and then ran those to the lowers. Yes all pos and neg connections are correct. It may just be the difference between one being more enlosed than the other. I did use polyfill on all of the speakers placed as well. Anyone have the same experience?

check the impedance on the lowers, make sure they're the same as the fairing.

other than that, if they're wired in parallel maybe it's just a sound illusion because the fairing speakers are literally in your face.
