I would like to remove the factory HD radio on my 01 ultra and install a HD radio with CD player. From what I've read I can use up to a 2004 HD radio. I would like to find one with a CB but I have seen several on Ebay with out CB's.
My Question is can I remove the CB module from my 01 radio and use it on a AM / FM / CD player that does not have a CB.
It appears from the pictures that the holes are available where the CB antenna and extra plug would be on the CD players that do not have the CB.

The radios up to 05 had the CB built into them. 06 and later model stock radios, the CB is external to the unit.
