Default Audio System Upgrade

It would sound great. If you want to keep your handle bar controls you will also need a kit from biketronics or hawgwired.

Default Audio System

Audio opinions needed!

1. Alpine CDE-143BT radio

2. Rockford PBR 300 x 2

3. Polk mm651 speakers.

Equipment to be installed in 2002 Electra Glide Classic front speaker set up only.

good choices. You'll need a handlebar control kit as well from either Biketronics or Hawg-Wired

will sound really great compared with stock and probably sound great for a 2 speaker system

those speakers are top performers and you cannot go wrong with adding an amp

the fact that you are also changing the head unit, the sound quality will improve as well

Are saying the standard handlebar controls will not work? Reasoning? I've been thinking about upgrading as well...

the handlebar controls need to have something to connect them to an aftermarket head unit. Those devices can be found from either Biketronics, Hawg-Wired, Eastern PC Performance, DragonFly, etc.

But yes if you change the stock head unit out, you'll need a device to allow you to keep your handlebar controls.
