any audio articles out there for comparison
been looking for about a month now with no luck. Does anyone know of a non bias publication that might have done a comparison of motorcycle audio? everything I search for seems to be a comparison from the manufacture of the product. So if I go to twelve different websites they all say there the best. Right now I have arc audio mpak 6 with the amp, sounds good but still have to do some tweaking for the bass. I was hoping I could get a comparison of the fairing speakers and what there best at( sound, clarity, distortion, bass).

I wish that existed unfortunately it's all biased. The manufacturers either compare their own products to someone else's and throw up a video on youtube or they actually pay (in some sort of way) a local indy or HD shop to publish articles in biker magazines touting their products.

that was what I was afraid of, I love the amp and the strength in my set up but it never hurts to see what other 6.5 speakers do. unfortunately I cannot spend 400 dollars on a product that the manufacture says is great. just to find out its crap in a 390 dollar box.

2008 SG with stock head unit, arc audio mpak 6 kit. installed with the 6.5 arc speakers and the arc 125 amp. its loud just not dialed in I believe seems to get pretty distorted past 3/4. Also the bass is almost non existent, I know I wont get much out of the 6.5s but was hoping for a bit more. at the moment I am using polyfil on the speakers to help out and going to look at the amp to make sure its properly set up.
