Need help getting wires into my hard bag

I run 1200 watts with zero problems on an Ultra, so I think you'll be good there. Find out how big you need to drill your holes for wiring, ( as small as possible), then order some grommets online , for a tight, waterproof seal. I use Deutsch connectors on my saddlebags. Slotted the top of the bag, and added a rubber grommet.

the deutsch connectors in his bags are not for 8ga wire. Without knowing for sure but knowing GP, the wires going into his bags for 2 speakers each bag are probably 12 or 16ga and 4 wires needed for each bag so it would be a 4 pin deutsch connector.
If you're looking for an 8ga connector to keep your bags removable you'll probably need something like this to keep it relatively small in size. Just make sure that your wire coming from the battery + lead is on the femal side of this connector.
Something to keep in mind also.. Most 8ga wire is not actually 8ga and will fit perfectly fine in a 10ga connector.

Thanks for the help,gents. I was planning to get a 600 w shark audio system.But thinking about it, now I'm wondering if the oem stator & regulator can take it(?) . My first step is trying to fish for some ideas on the best way to physically get the wires in & out of the hard bag. I guess I need to drill a hole through the side & somehow weather proof it, but I still need to be able to easily remove it. Any ideas? Thanks again!!
