I've heard the stories about the HK radios, but I'm not sure if my 04 Ultra has an HK. I tried the stereo with my cell hooked up playing my tunes and had the same problem. Stereo sounds great but after a few miles down the road it starts breaking up. Is it the speakers or the stereo? Thanks for your help!
04 doesn't use the H/K head unit but instead it's the Radiosound version of the head unit. For repairs you can contact www.radiosound.com
Does it do it for both front and rear speakers? You can test this by adjusting the fader only to the front and testing and then fading only to the rear to test. If it does the same thing both front and rear, I highly doubt it's the speakers but if they are stock 04 speakers, I guess anything is possible.
What about with headphones.. If it does it with headphones then there is nothing else to test.. it's the head unit...
