Default ipod interface. or new stereo

So the upgrades continue. After 1000 mile trip on the bike over 4th of July I have decided I want iPod usability. So get an adapter to work with stock radio or upgrade head unit. Must still have handle bar controls.

Depends what you want. If your looking to upgrade the whole sound system then changing out the headunit is something to consider. If you just want to beable to interface your ipod then it will be cheaper to just add the ipod kit. If you decide on the iPod interface kit with your stock head unit let me know ill be putting mine up for sale. It's the HD version. I also have the saddlebag kit with it.

I plan on doing the fronts. Maybe add rears later on. Already have speakers. Waiting for the amp.

Also consider the Iron Cross iPod interface. It is an excellent option and a little cheaper than the HD version I believe. It is what I run and it works well streaming pandora or listening to iPhone music.

In my case, I wanted a well integrated CB install so I retrofitted the HK on my '04, and installed the HD cb module and related parts. I later added the HD iPod module for use with my iPhone. Couple of amps, more speakers, etc. and I have been very pleased.

If you don't have plans to add any of the HD modules, there are aftermarket units with more features.
