Default JL audio C5-650x
I read somewhere about this guy who has these JL audio C5-650x speakers combined with the RF pbr300x2 amp and claims it's an awesome combination.What's your take on this guys?are those speakers waterproof anyway?I tried reading up on it and there seem to be no words on water resistance.

For the price,......it better be an awesome combo ! They are NOT waterproof......waterproof on fairing speakers , IMO, isn't a deal breaker.

Err..I don't get it..is this guy using speakers that is not water resistant?how is that possible.Doesn't it rain everywhere?

I run 8 speakers and none are waterproof,.......................but some people get hung up on the 'waterproof' thing................if you like 'em, buy 'em !!

If you are in the country of Malaysia, at 98 inches of rain a year,.....I'd definitely go with the POLKS,..........they are as waterproof as you can get !!

How would the Polk compare against biketronics?

Biketronics are the way to go.......there actually made by hybrid audio technologies with the help of biketronics on there 7.1's they sound amazing, also they come with a lifetime warranty thats very hard to beat. I've heard great things about the Polks and a lot swear by them but recently they have been having issues with them failing...................

Got the message..the only thing is you don't find the BT 7.1 on ebay which is easier for me to get stuffs from.
