A question about the blown Polks...

A question about the blown Polks...

So, here I am expecting my Polk MM651's tomorrow or Saturday and am freaking out that I'll get them installed only to have them crap out on my somewhere along the 1600 route to Milwaukee for the 110th bash.

Is there any preemptive glueing I can do? JB Weld? Contact cement? Anybody with blown Polks have any insight?

Personally, I would return em and put that money toward bt 7.1 speakers

Yeah, well... if only I had the extra $150+ and the $$ to have it overnighted, I could go that route. Not everybody has had problems with their Polks. I suppose I could refrain from the beer and hoopla at the 110th and have them replaced there. But, I was hoping for some insight from somebody with experience.

yzergod.. adjust your gains per the instructions then turn them down just a tad bit more. Also set your crossover on the amp to HP which will take some of the lower frequencies out of the spectrum for you and you should be fine sir..
