Default Help! 2005 electra glide amp install wiring?

Has anyone installed an aftermarket amp like in my case a SS4.520 on an 05 or earlier? If so what and how exactly did you run your power and ground wires meaning the 05's don't have a main wiring harness channel between the tank and frame like the newer bikes have I've got both ran through but it concerns me that without any sort of protection over the wires besides the sheathing they could potentially rub over time and cause a major problem? If anyone could chime in on this much thanks as I would like to know or see pics before I hook it all up.

I used the existing wire looms. I was able to push a fish tape through and pull the wires in. I didn't run the ground back to the battery but I did install a #8 hot wire and two #16 speaker wires for the lids.

I got lucky todd and got some of the original wire loom they use on the bikes from the factory at my local HD dealer.

Not sure how an 05' screaming eagle is set up for wiring? but if you were standing in front of my bike I had to run my power and ground on the right side frame rail where there is no existing wire loom available.

I believe the only difference in the wiring is the additional wiring for the integrated amp in the radio which I removed. Standing from the front of the bike I ran my wires from the right side of the amp under the radio and down the left side through the existing large wiring loom
