Problem with Sony Head Unit -iPod interface

I have one of the Sony units with the hidden iPod interface. Has worked fine since I put it in this spring. Wen for a ride the other day and it can not find the iPod. iPod powers up and is playing.

Anyone have this issue? Any ideas?

Hit the tiny reset button behind the face. That should fix it. It happens every now and then. Could not tell you why it goes astray though.

Mine lasted less that a year before I switched to a marine unit, hope that's not your issue but it doesn't seem like these Sonys where built to last on a bike? At least there cheap enough!

depending on the ipod model you have there is a sequence to "reboot" it. Mine is hitting the center button and bottom button at the same time and holding for a few seconds. You'll see the screen go black with the apple logo in it. This works everytime.
