Anyone with the BT4180 amp. Where do you have your bass set to on the HU? I'm getting distortion at 60-70% volume so I put mine at 3 bars up from lowest setting. I now think my front right speaker is blown. Makes a crackling sound above 25%?
Still can't figure out the issue with my antenna not working after amp install?
Spent the afternoon test fitting the Infinity 62.11i in a 14 SGS.
I did not have the new grills so my intention was to mock them up to see how they fit.
They will bolt right up, "BUT" the foam surround ring protrudes into the fairing opening with no clearance and is making contact with the fairing opening. It appears to me that when the grills are installed there will be even less clearance and more contact with the foam surround.
Anyone know what this will do to the performance of the speaker??
Are you all telling me that I have just spent 31,000 on a motorcycle with a infortainment system that is a piece of ****? First need new pipes, new breather, now.... All new amps and speakers, Someone is jerking my crank, or someone is jerking yours. Maybe we all should buy those things with the two wheels in front, Or maybe a shopping cart..think I'm done with forums

well sir it's one of those things that you read, enjoy, maybe make a move to a better infotainment system or simply move on if it's not your cup-o-tea.
But to answer your question, yes they've always been a piece of **** and always will be.. that's precisely why they sell boom audio to "upgrade" the piece of **** that the MOCO sent with your bike.
Glad you stopped by to say hello..

Don't forget the rear shocks suck and need to be replaced too!!
I think working to customize our bikes as individuals is 50% of the experience. I like wrenching on my toys as much as I do driving or riding them. To each his own. If the 31k stocker makes you happy it's all good. 👍👍
You think these Harley's get expensive? Try custom boats❗️❗️BOAT "break out another thousand"
ah.. I see now, 4180. Call Bill at Biketronics and let him know of your circumstances. He'll make it right for you.
Thanks Ultra...
Bill has been great! I had a issue with one of my Titan II speakers and he has a new one shipping priority mail today along with what we hope is a fix for that issue.
He had no idea about the antenna though? I double checked everything and even changed to a new power source to no avail. Crazy! I might just buy a new antenna. Of course the 2014 changed the plug so there isn't an aftermarket one yet. Bill said he was looking into getting the plug.
Do you know how much power it pulls? Harley said it might be picking up noise from amp. I was going to run new power leads to battery just to see it it helps? Then it will be on 100% of the time though. Not good.
