Excellent.. I have been looking at those and wondered how they would work. Looks really nice back there. What harness did you buy? May I ask why you ran new speaker wires to the rears? I guess you didn't want to cut the existing? Congrats and enjoy that system.
The harness is used for wires to go to the Amp and then back out to the speakers. This way you don't have to splice existing wires.
SG1858,
Did you put anything in your lowers? Just curious. I'm also going to go by the deakership and see what flash they did on mine. I'm hoping it's just a no amp flash and the CVO premium will yield better results. Thanks for that info.
Well, CVO premium audio set up has an Amp, so the flash does support the amp. But it should work without the amp. I have Ultra Limited with liquid cool, I can't use lowers for anything since that's where the coolant reservoir are located.
Has anyone tried the new Hogtunes amp and speaker setup for the 2014 Streetglide? And what is the final outcome with the BT new 7.1's? Is everyone happy with them and the removal of the speaker pod?
I have a 2014 sgs And I am having a hard time finding out where to tap for the remote wire. I have a 4 channel soundstream amp. I've heard that you can tap into the cig lighter just curious as to how you are doing so. Thanks for the help.

Do you remember which of the flashes they used on your bike? I talked to my guy today and he said the only flashes that he saw in there were 1 amp 2 amp. He did not see anything designated as CVO premium setup. Could it be because I'm on the SG with no rear pods, so it won't pull up. I sure would like to experience some of the bass you say you are getting.

Here is the link to the Rockford Fosgate Set up page. They posted this on another thread. Please let me know if this works for you because I am trying to decide whether to go with the flash or the magic boxes when I build my system. http://rftech.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1169

Forget about the flash. Most tech's at Harley don't know what to do. I got the magic box from cycle sounds and it works GREAT. I was very dissapointed after talking to 3 Harley dealers and getting 3 different answers none of which sounded satifactory to me.

There is a blue and red stipe wire fron the 12 volt outlet (ciger lighter) just splice a wire to it and connect it to the remote terminal on the amp.
Finally got the speakers in the lowers and flashed for 1 amp. It is loud and clear. We were able to finally get it dialed in so it didn't sound like crap. I did notice that my FM reception has gotten worse. Maybe a powered FM antenna?!? Now I'm thinking about some cyclesounds lids with some 6x9's in them to give me a little bass. I tried to look up the speakers suggested by Glacierpearl in his set up. They seem to be discontinued. Is there a replacement pioneer 6x9 or any other suggestion. Let me know please. Thanks!
