pretty simple IMO. I don't know anything about the atom lineup but IF FM is important to you then go with the PBR300x2. If you don't care about the possibility of degraded or even lost FM reception then go with the SS 2.350D. Neither the 300x2 or the 350D put out excessive heat or draw a lot of current.
Thanks for the advice UN, I think I need to just order the stuff and be done with it. FM is important to me since I commute on my SG daily and like my morning show, I'm going with the PBR300x2.
Speaking of ordering, has anyone noticed that the price of the Magic Box is now $99! I could have sworn a month ago it was $69. I guess supply and demand has kicked in, but for that price why not just get the system flashed!

They were $69 as well.. same price as the rear.. I guess ole Ed decided to make a little more $$ on them. Either that or they're being jobbed out to another manufacturer now.

So yes I see they went up as well... I have a brand new one, put on bike did not like it at all.. I am sticking with the flash. Its for sale if anyone is interested.
They did go up,but I think it's because the kit now has a new part included. It now includes speaker connectors to hook up the front speakers to your amp.

GlidingJoe, are you the OP that said you felt the magic boxes affected your bass? I know I could go back and re-read this thread to find out, but I'm just being lazy. I'm trying to decide between magic boxes and the flash.

No, I just found that my set-up with Flash and settings with my AMP were an excellent set-up. No longer going to mess with a good thing and remove the flash to properly use the Magic Box.

I had the magic box initially, and I just didn't think it sounded right - a little distorted and no bass. I think, if you can, the flash is the best way to go (and bonus: if your dealer is like the one I went to, they won't charge you for it - some do, some don't). But if the flash isn't an option, the magic box is a functional alternative.

The flash is certainly a functional alternative and I will ad, not all service departments are trained enough to even do the flash at this point. I had to assist with having mine done, as well as doing other things using Digi Tech.
If the flash is not the correct one it sounds even worse.
