a capacitor is not necessary and just adds one more point of failure for these systems. If you are using an amp that draws high current then the need might be there but Class D, G, H amps don't draw very much current from the charging system at all with Class D drawing less than all the others.

GlacierPearl, myself, among others are running multiple large amps in the tourpak and nary an issue. Matter of fact here is a pic of my current meter measuring the draw on my 2 TN4.900D amps at a volume level that will make your ears bleed. this was taken over a 20 minute time frame with the meter set to record the highest peak in amperage draw.

4.7A.. that even surprised me...

I still am wondering if just a 1 Farad Cap might help a PBR 300x4 survive

I have a new PBR 300x2 in plastic that i was gonna replace my current Alpine KTP with but I may go to a 300x4.

I still am thinking of trying 4 of the Pioneer TS-D1602R 6.5 in the Fairng and Lowers.

Even though I now Biketronics is the way to go
Just cant spend all that right now

You would be better off running those 4 Pioneers off the pbr300x2 in parallel than having them on the pbr300x4.
