Default Rear speaker pods

Does anyone happen to have a set of HD speaker Pod templates? I recently picked up a set of pods and speakers that a guy took off his 10 Ultra. I just need a set of drilling templates to get them mounted correctly on my 08 FLHTC. Can anyone help?

my suggestion would be to put painters tape on your tourpak where the pods will go then set the pods where you want them (usually lined up with the backrest vertically and about 1/2" below the backrest) and mark your holes with a sharpie from the inside.

Is it possible to make a template from the location of the holes on the bike they were taken off of?

I tried that they kept moving on me because the hole is so small inside there and the size of the sharpie is so long with my fat hand there is no room LOL. I need to find a little kid to mark them for me I guess. I was just hoping someone would have a template they could copy for me, HD won't sell just the template.

ok then how about taking an 8.5 and 11 sheet of paper and placing it on the back of the pod. trace it out then place that on the tourpak.

what he said + you can use masking tape to mark the edges of the pods while you hold them in the right place. Then use the the cut down/marked piece of paper to locate the holes in reference to the tape. Good luck!
