I recently purchased a 2014 FLHX with the 4.3 radio. The sales guy that sold me the bike stated that I could add the Sirius-XM module later. Now i'm finding out that this may not be the case. Anyone know if it's possible to add the Sirius-XM module to this radio? The Boom Box owners manual is vague.

Time to go back to the dealer to have a conversation about this. Maybe work a deal that they will take the 4.3 back for credit against the upgrade.
My HD dealer fitted an XM module and at the moment it is playing the preview and there is a lot less bass than there is playing my phone or the FM radio.
Does anyone know if the bass improves when you take out a subscription?

I know that is the same case on my car. I let the 6 month subscription lapse and all I get is that preview channel with no bass.
Hmmm.. interesting I am thinking of phoning them up and trying to bargain with them to get it in the jeep which lapsed a few years ago and we have had it in our main car free for a year and just renewed.
I would have thought they would do a deal for two cars and a trike.... anyone any experience of this?

When I activated my Jeep after the free 90 day trial ran out, they offered me one year for $99. I took it. My GF just activated her subscription in her new CR-V and they gave her 6 months for $25. Cant beat that. Call them and make a deal.
