Default Sirius-xm ??

I recently purchased a 2014 FLHX with the 4.3 radio. The sales guy that sold me the bike stated that I could add the Sirius-XM module later. Now i'm finding out that this may not be the case. Anyone know if it's possible to add the Sirius-XM module to this radio? The Boom Box owners manual is vague.

Default It doesn't look like it

If you look at the tutorial on HD's web site the 6.5 has the XM part under the NAV tab integrated into the system. On the 4.5 tutorial there is no mention of XM. I hate you were misled.........

If you have XM on your car radio you can get it on your smart phone and run that thru your system. I have my iphone app that I run thru the aux jack and it works well.

No Sirius-XM with that radio. The larger radio on the Special and Limited allow the addition of satellite radio.

No need for an all analog aux in for an iPhone, use the USB connection.

My buddy has a 2014 SG.. sorry I don't know the version of the radio, but it was the basic one.... He purchased the XM module, then they said it wouldn't fit. He had to upgrade to the full $1,600 version and THEN the XM module would fit.
It was an expensive upgrade... but he now has XM

I have the Delphi MyFi XM radio (you can get them cheap on eBay) on my '07 Ultra.
Transmits on 12 different FM channels.
I have it in my Tour Pak, out of sight and out of the weather.
Have it tuned to a FM channel not used and I can go X-Country without a problem.
I have to open the TP if I want a station change but adding XM didn't cost zillions of dollars as you'd pay from Harley.
I can also move the unit around to my house or truck.
Nice unit.

I was told by 3 salesmen at 3 different dealers that the Limited came with the XM module.

Of course, this was back in August and they had no frikkin clue what they were talking about.

I was pissed when I found out my new bike didn't have the module, and it was going to be another $400 so I could pay to listen to the radio. I don't mind the subscription fee, I've had an XM subscription for 10 years, but they can kiss my *** if they think I'm paying $400 for the privilege.

So I went and did another thing I said I never would, bought an iPod.

Had Sirius when I bought my Fusion. I used and still do use Pandora or downloaded playlists more often. Sirius seemed to play the same stuff over and over. It's also a lot of money just to get the hardware if you don't already have the capability, then add in the $10+ monthly fee for their service. I guess what I'm getting at is that there are cheaper ways to bring commercial-less music to your stereo.
