sorry for all the questions. the plan is to mount the new amp in the left bag, where my current amp resides. would this make a difference in your suggestion? I was kinda looking at the hertz HDP4 amp??

Most Class D amps will interfere with FM reception. I believe, or at least hear that Biketronics and J&M have figured it out with quality components in the power supply circuits to not cause the interference.
