I upgraded my system with mm651's and Soundstream amp, I'm very happy with the setup and price with exception of the lack of radio due to the amp. My Dad is looking to replace stock speakers (4ea) and add an amp. does anyone have anyone have an opinion of good setup for 1g or under?
I have a street glide but pops has an Ultra. I am looking at replacing my amp with the pbr300X2 and considering 2 of them for his ultra.
I would go with the Infinity speakers for your dad's all around, or if he wants to spend a little extra, the Infinity for the tour pack odds pods and the Biketronics 7.1's for the fairing. No problems with the pbr amps. Very reliable and powerful.
Are any system upgrades plug and play? The biketronics setup looks like soldering etc. It appears that the J&M system doesn't require and mods. I have a 2013 Ultra Limited and am thinking about upgrading.
