Thinking about this setup for my new system.....Give me your feedback
Headunit
Sony MEX-GS610BT
Amp
JL Audio 400/4
Fairing Speakers
JL Audio C%-653 6 1/2
Saddlebag Speakers
Infinity Kappa 693.11i 6x9
Feedback. . . The JL-653 components are going to be a PITA to set up on a bike. The JL C5-650x sound just as good and less grief to set up. Good choice on the Infinity 6 x 9's. The infinity's blend well with the JL's ( 650X) because the JL's have real smooth bass and the infinity's are crystal clear!! My little brother has this set up and it sounds unbelievable!! But very expensive!
I would opt for the JL 600/4 amp........WAY more powerful !!
The 400/4, at 75 watts per channel , into a 225 peak watt speakers, and 100 watts into a 330 peak watt speakers, isn't taking advantage of the money you spent !!
Based on JL400/4 dimensions I've wondered if Zapco ST-4D would fit in batwing fairing never heard anyone on here try one?
Zapco ST-4D

4 Channel Full range class D
Power @ 2Ω: 4 x 160 watts

RMS Rated Power @ < 0.05%THD
Power @ 2Ω: 4 x 160watts
Power @ 4Ω: 4 x 100watts
Bridged @ 4Ω: 2 x 320watts
Based on JL400/4 dimensions I've wondered if Zapco ST-4D would fit in batwing fairing never heard anyone on here try one?
Since the Zapco has about the same specs as the Soundstream PN4.520D , at 3 TIMES THE COST,.....I doubt that you'll hear of anyone trying it...
Not that it's not a great amp, but..........
Most guys are looking for 'more for less',......not the other way around !!
Price point is a MAJOR attribute to the choosing of audio products, especially in a crappy environment , like a motorcycle........The juice isn't often worth the squeeze.
If we were talking car audio, ....then a lot of things would be different.
