Hello out there..
I recently upgraded the speakers on my 2009 ultra, I went with the HD upgrade. They were working fine for a few weeks but now I have no sound from them.Everything works fine on my headset radio , cb, intercom. I ran a diagnostic check and I'm getting LF speaker open message. I checked and cleaned every connection and checked every pin and still nothing . Any ideas anyone ?

I bet you have the stock Harman Kardon radio. Over time they develop cracks in the circuit board, usually caused by too long riser bolts or broken fairing braces. Iron Cross is a vendor on this board and can fix your radio.

Thank you for your reply. I'm a new member and I'm finding lots of good info here . I will investigate further, but I think I might be into buying a new radio.

do a simple test ,,,, pull the fairing off, take one of your old speakers and connect it to the speaker wires, instead of the new BOOMs you bought ,,,,,,

if it works, then you know your radio is OK ,,,,,,,,,

if there IS a problem with the radio, pull it and send to www.ironcrossaudio.com for repairs, as there really are not any better alternatives yet, for your Harley than the stock HK radio ,,,,,, as the Alpine, Sony and other brand replacement car radios that people sell as replacements, take a Sh_t at the very first sign of water ,,,,
