Well over this last winter the project was building a 107” and also collecting parts to make my Road King Classic into a Road King Ultra. I wanted everything to be quick release so I can switch everything up and I wanted a good sound system. I went with this set up
Reckless Fairing
Sony Marine CDX-H910UI $189
pbr300x2 $149
Front speakers Infinity 6912m marine speakers $83
Rear speakers are Infinity 612m mounted in Junes Upholstery Speaker pods $60 speakers $150 Pods
Have to say this system rocks pretty good. I have read lots where people say you lose the base at high speeds but I must say these 6x9’s throw the base out pretty good. The only thing I will have to change is I am going to have to add another pbr300x2 for the rears because the fronts over power them big time. Even though I will not have the Tour Pak on very often I still want to be able to even them out some.
Already took the water hose to the whole system a couple of times and everything seems to be holding up to the water. I really like the Sony HU. I think I made the right choice on that one.
