Blown PBR
Ok update
Last night got an e-mail from VM Innovations, that is who I purchased the amp from. They told me that they are an authorized dealer with Rockford and they included my invoice and told me to give Rockford a call to have the amp replace or repaired under warranty.
This afternoon called Rockford, they informed me that yes VM Innovations is an authorized dealer but only in their retail store and not their online store and seems I bought it through their online store I will have to have them look after it.
So I asked them what difference does it make how I bought it. They are an authorized dealer and what's the difference if they sold it to me on line or in their store. You should be happy that they are selling your product. He said well we only have a couple of dealers that are authorized to sell online and they are not one of them.
I have now e-mailed the seller and am waiting for a reply.
If I was Rockford I would be embarrassed.

I had the same issue with my first PBR amp and was able to return it to the eBay seller I bought it from. It's a little disturbing that RF won't warranty their own product regardless of where it was bought. Best case for you is that the retailer you bought it through will step up and replace it.
Well here’s the update. I ended up calling Rockford a couple more times. That turned out to be a waste of time. They said that they would not help me because the seller was not authorized to sell online. I said you mean that I have to ship this amp to the seller the seller is going to have to ship it to you because no matter what it is under your warranty so one way or another you will end up with this amp and then you will have to ship the new amp to the seller so they can ship it to me. Why the hell are you going to waste my time with that when I can send it to you and you can send the new one to me? All they would say was the seller was not authorized to sell online so you have to contact them.
Any how the seller said ship it back to them but they do not have any more in stock so I can exchange it for something else if I want. I may go to their site and find something seems I have already have the new amp. If anything I will just sit and wait for them to get some more.

Well today I was able to install my new Amp and speakers. Went with the Acoustik RZ4-2000D Nano amp and stuck with the same speakers as before, Infinity 6912m marine speakers. The sound is great and I am pleased with the amp so far. I have not had a chance to try the FM yet or had a chance to check and see if my rear Tour Pak speakers are blown or not. I will do that on the weekend.
Shipped out the old amp today and will see what happens with that.

LOL . . . The bottom and the top on my PC. . . .
Well took the bike out for a short ride today and found out the FM sucks with the new amp. I even installed JM’s hidden antenna along with another hidden antenna that I had before that worked great with the RF amp. I heard that JM’s hidden antenna was the best out there so I figured with the D class amp I would add it just to see if it would help me out but no go. Little disappointed in that because I do listen to FM while riding back and forth to work, just to stay on top of things going on in traffic and other things.
So I may be looking at trying a different amp. Being an aftermarket fairing, I do have lots of room under there for different sizes, so back to the drawing board for a good 4 ch amp.
Open to any ideas under $200

amazon 2 channel 250 bucks
unless someone runs it here or knows someone who runs it (4 channel as well), we do not know if it would be meeting the specs...
