Not an ***....just get a little irritated when false information is put out there. It ends up costing more money than it should when this happens. Ask me how I know. And that was sarcasm....just to get your blood boiling. Im really a good cool guy in real life....ask me how I know that too....

I find myself in denial all the time....but usually it involves the organ that processes what the eyes can see....

Hmmm...well.........ok. Just from RF's website, they list their class D amps separate from their BR amps.

Question on the pioneers in the front fairing? If we are talking about the bike in your signature, No way in hell are the Pioneers going to fit in the fairing. Go with the infinity's or 7.1's in the fairing. Now if you have a 6 X 9 reckless fairing I stand corrected.
Spec wise, the Pioneer TS-D1702R is 6¾" 2-Way Speaker with a mounting depth of 2-1/2" and by using the METRA 82-9601 SPEAKER ADAPTERS which hold 6 1/2" to 6 3/4" speakers should be fine, right?

Pioneer TS-D1702R Specs

METRA 82-9601

Sorry man I misread your post. I'm so used to seeing Pioneer TS-D6902R the 6.5 speaker didn't register. Those speaker adapters should be just fine. The TS-D1702 is a nice speaker. I think you'll be very happy with that set up!

Thanks Captain.

Since I am getting the HT saddle bag lids, what do you think of their speakers? They offer with speakers and without, the difference is around 143.00 bucks but not sure about their performance.

What do you think of this?

I'm thinking of doing 4 speakers setup, the Pioneer TS-D1702R in front and Pioneer TS-D6902R in the rear lids using hogtunes lids.
Do not want to throw a wrench in, but if you consider the SoundStream, look at the PA RZ4.2000D. Gann, me and others have "determined" is is "louder/clearer". I actually took the 4.520 out and put the RZ in.
110 bucks...

I wouldn't risk the Hog Tune speakers. . . Go with the Pioneers! And Like AAWAV said. The Sound Stream or Power Acoustik will push those speakers just fine! Both good amps!
