Do not want to throw a wrench in, but if you consider the SoundStream, look at the PA RZ4.2000D. Gann, me and others have "determined" is is "louder/clearer". I actually took the 4.520 out and put the RZ in.
110 bucks...
I got this from the manual of the SS PN4.520D, between the brackets (RZ4-2000D) is mentioned. Now which on is which???
I was ready to pull the trigger on the SS PN4.520D but now another animal is on my way, RZ4-2000D. Spec wise are identical but the performance and SQ of RZ4 is better for some people.
Guys, this is a one time purchase because the amp will be shipped from USA to my country, so the right choice is very critical.
Not an ***....just get a little irritated when false information is put out there. It ends up costing more money than it should when this happens. Ask me how I know. And that was sarcasm....just to get your blood boiling. Im really a good cool guy in real life....ask me how I know that too....

He wasn't putting out false info. At all. It clearly shows on Rockfords website that PBR amps are Class BR. Its right there on the main amplifier page. Scroll down to topologies explained:
Class D's are in their own category. Class BR'S are their own category, which all the PBR series amps fall under. I'm assuming BR stands for boosted rail. Nowhere under any of the specs for the PBR amps does it mention they are class D. It does however list them as "Circuit Topology Class: Class-BR" in the specifications section.
If the PBR's are class D then RF is sure going out of their way to hide that fact. Ask me how I know this........I can read.
Troop was only wrong in making it sound like all rockfords amps are not class D, which I don't think he meant to do. Some are. I find a grand total of 5 searching on their website. But the PBR model is most definitely not.

If you're willing to pay for the shipping, you could ship it to my house and I'd ship it to you. I got no problem doing a little leg work at the post office to get a fellow brother what he needs. I know a guy on facebook who is an arc dealer I could see if he could ship it to you. Unless there is some legal problem in your country lets see what we can do to get you what we all know works.
