It's very unfortunate that I can't get neither the fosgate amp nor the Polk speakers in my country. We have limited brands like, Pioneer, Alpine and Kenwood. I understand the room behind the fairing is small for big amps and I've never opened the fairing to check the space, but here I found the smallest amps available in our market, please see the sizes of each and advise which one will fit.
ohms on speakers: depends on the amp
amp: make sure you get a Class D amp.
size: for in fairing ~ 9.5 wide by ~5.5 to 6 deep and 2 high (need to trim gauge rings them, not a biggy.
I will add Soundstream PN4.520D 520W 4 Channel Class D Picasso Series Compact Amplifier to the list. It's Class D, powerful and affordable too.
What do you think of this?
I'm thinking of doing 4 speakers setup, the Pioneer TS-D1702R in front and Pioneer TS-D6902R in the rear lids using hogtunes lids.
+1 on the sound stream 520.D
+1 on the Pioneers in the Hog tune lids
Question on the pioneers in the front fairing? If we are talking about the bike in your signature, No way in hell are the Pioneers going to fit in the fairing. Go with the infinity's or 7.1's in the fairing. Now if you have a 6 X 9 reckless fairing I stand corrected.
So...what you're saying is that the PBR is not a class D? Am I getting this correct? If not, then what design do they use??? Dont worry about answering that one....I wont be taking advice from you...

The 1702R is a 6.5 speaker. Those are the ones I had on my bike at first before going to the Kappas and putting those pioneers on the wife's bike. If you're curious about a PBR300x2 combo with the Pioneers, thats what I have on my wife's sporty. Let me tell you....they straight ROCK!! Not as much high as the infinity, but they can definitely hold their own...especially for the price.

Wow... Just read their specs at RF. They do not classify it as a class D amp. Unless BRT is their wording for a class D spec? You always kind of an *** tho??
